ENHANCED SHELL PROTECTION
Under the super soft cosy material, you will find a strong Expanded Poly-Propylene (EPP – 3600EPP structure) shell, opposed to the industry standard of Expanded Poly-Styrene (EPS). EPP is a more robust and durable material than EPS. The shell construction of the Albert i-Size supports ventilation and pleasant lying comfort for your baby thanks to the all-round air channels. Due to its high performance, EPP is used in high-quality bicycle helmets, and it can also be completely recycled, a process that is significantly less feasible for EPS.
FIRA FABRIC
Swandoo’s Fire Retardant process is different to existing processes. The FIRA fabric Swandoo are using is a new process that involves PU coating to be applied like a thick paint to the fabric. PU coating meets burning performance requirements of BS5852, it’s odour free and allows the original features of the fabric – softness and elasticity retained, as leave an excellent look.
